I had my first Supper Club on 29/10/11. It was bit of a struggle to fill at first but after a piece in the MK News, an appearance on 3 Counties Radio Breakfast Show, business cards pressed into various people's hands and entries on local web sites, 7 people came along. Wow, the marketing of these Supper Clubs is more work than actually running the evening!

The food and company went well, with a good mix of ages and backgrounds. Everyone seemed to have a good time. As a sucker for punishment I have decided to try another evening.

Once again I will be keeping the evening small with just 10 seats at one table in my dining room. I think the one table concept fits Supper Club evenings rather than separating people artificially. One club I heard of asks everyone to change seats between courses to encourage interaction, although I feel that may be going too far......

The evening will be taking place on Great Holm, Milton Keynes. Exact address will be provided after booking.
